Tam picked up his first blues harp in 1991 so he wouldn't be left out when
friends were having a jam session.
He played in front of his first audience at an open mic session at the
Hawkshill Hotel in 1994 where he met Aly and Bruce, someone clapped their
hands and he was hooked.
